We are two weeks into the new year, and I’ve managed to dredge up from deep storage what it is I’m doing at my day job after the holiday break.
But this blogsletter1 is the fun thing I sink much of the rest of my time into.
Like the Onion said, “Find The Thing You're Most Passionate About, Then Do It On Nights And Weekends For The Rest Of Your Life.”
Laugh, cry!
I’m managing to keep making decent progress, though. :)
Anyway, here’s part 3.2 of Blood of My Blood! A bit of commentary after the panels.
Blood of My Blood is a magical realist graphic short story with horror undertones for everyone searching for their body's "Owner's Manual".
Need to catch up on the story so far? Links to all the parts are here:

William’s Notes
I’m really happy particularly with the first and third pages of today’s release. The stark, contrasty execution looks really sharp, and I think juxtaposed with the other pages before them, they do a great job expressing the feelings I’m going for.
And the line art on the characters on the second page. And the giant gutters.
This variety and modulation of tone and tempo feels good.
The house was a pain, haha.
Portmanteau I’ve coined to describe a blog/newsletter.
The contrast between the house and the style so far...so cool! I guess it's a callback to the pencil-drawn memories? Very cool. The house feels both real and unreal in this moment.
Great job !
